writing in response to orwell

As I read 1984 I realized that Winston Smith is similar to people I know. I compared Winston to my grandparents and great-aunt. Winston and my family members didn’t like chance they liked to stick with the same old same old. They both told stories about life as they knew is and how life was when they were younger. I believe they tell and keep these stories in their memory because it helps them remember their happy times and show that life really does change.
I believe that the new children will take the change much easier then the older people. I believe this because the new children don’t know life to be any different then how they are living now so the change isn’t really that big of a deal for them. But for the older folks life is changing big time and they aren’t really agreeing or liking it too much therefore it affects them a lot more then it does the younger ones.
